Community Solutions Summit

At the Community Solutions Summit, fire departments and community organizations discussed solutions for those experiencing homelessness, struggling with substance use, and individuals with mental illness. Community members with these needs seek public safety resources at a higher rate than can be sustainabl offered. First responders are often utilized as a reactionary approach to those experiencing crisis. Gathering from AK, AZ, WA, OR, UT, NV, and CA, multiple organizations worked together to find proactive solutions to these complex situations facing their communities.
